Tried 5 weeks after giving birth, didn't really go all the way in, pubic bone hurt too much :(

I had sex at 4 weeks pp. it was the day I had my appointment, and my doc cleared me. It was painful, and he had to go slow in the beginning. But it got better, and I was just a little sore after. We waited 2 days until the 2nd time, but it hasn't hurt at all since the first. I had a 2nd degree tear (no episiotomy, I tore on my own).

At 4 weeks pp, even though I didn't see my Dr for another week, I healed so well from my C section and I had been missing it since week 1! It was oddly sore when we started, and we used a condom for birth control which was very strange to us, but we took it slow and it ended up being great! Now at 8 weeks pp, sadly there hasn't been much time for more than 1x a week or so, but it doesn't hurt anymore!
