Gender reveal/baby shower party?

When did everyone do their baby showers or gender reveal parties? How many weeks were you? Did you do a combined shower/reveal or was it just a shower? 
This is my first baby and I do not live near my family. So I’m thinking of doing a baby shower/gender reveal party, but I don’t know when do it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was thinking of doing a gender reveal/baby shower but then people wouldn’t know what to bring so I decided against it. I have family that lives anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours away so what we did was at 17 weeks we went to PA to visit my dad bought fireworks and gave the guy the paper the doctor gave us. He wrapped the fireworks so we could see them when it got dark lit them off on a fb live. I had told everyone on fb when it would be happening and to stay tuned. Then for my baby shower it was in NY where I lived at 32 weeks

I did them separately because my family is close. It makes sense to do them at one time so your family doesn’t have to take 2 trips! Just register for gender-neutral things :)

I don’t live close to my family either, they are a little over 4 hours away but we made a trip down there for the reveal at 21 weeks and we don’t plan on going back for the shower until about 32-34 weeks (still in planning) lol

We did gender reveal at 18 weeks, but it was just my family and his over for pizza, super small.
Then we did baby shower at like 28 weeks. I gave birth at 36 weeks so I’m happy we did it early-ish lol

Shower is planned for week 33. No gender reveal because we are waiting until birth to find out!

I’ve never had either one. With this baby I’m doing a reveal at 13 weeks.

We did our gender reveal at 20 weeks and then our shower will be at 32 weeks. You guys do whatever will work best for you though! If you don't do the reveal until the shower you won't get any "gender specific" clothes which is fine! You'll get plenty of other stuff.

I had my baby shower at 37w4. I'm 38w4d today...and still waiting on baby #3 to decide when she will join the world!

32 weeks is when I’ll have my baby shower. I’m not sure if I want to find out the gender, but if I do, it will be at the baby shower and still at 32 weeks.
