Leaking fluid?

Question

How do you tell if your leaking fluid or if it’s just pee. I’ve been finding wet spots in my underwear in the last 24 sometimes it’s not much about a quarter size once it was the size of a half dollar. I just can’t tell what I’m leaking

I think of its amniotic fluid they say the flow of it would be constant and that it wouldn’t have a smell and that your underwear would be pretty much saturated. What you’ve described sounds to me like it could be discharge.

It sounds like discharge to me. With my first I was leaking fluid. I had a constant trickle down my leg, there wasn't a gush. It wasn't a lot either, but it was more than the usual discharge in late pregnancy. After awhile a few hours after noticing I finally told my mother and she told me to go to the hospital. Lo and behold I had my baby that next day at 3 a.m.

If it smells somewhat sweet, it could be amniotic fluid. Otherwise it's probably just urine. I had this during my third pregnancy and it really freaked me out, but it was just urine.
