Soooo Surprised!!!

Here is a crazy story I want to share about my pregnancy. Which I know I'm not the only one who has probably had this happen but I found it funny. To begin, this is my first pregnancy at all and I'm currently 3 days from being 39 weeks. My now husband and I were living in Florida when we found out I was pregnant and we ended up moving soon after to Texas. We had our first ultrasound at 10 weeks right before we moved. Well, considering I knew we would be moving again soon from Texas to Arkansas, I didn't bother trying to apply for Medicaid. Little did I realize it would be longer than I thought before we moved. So between 10 and 24 weeks, I hadn't seen a doctor. When we finally moved to Arkansas, I finally got my Medicaid by mid of January and started seeing my local health clinics nurse practioner so I was seeing at least someone while I tried to find a new OB. Well, while going to the health clinic for my pregnancy check ups, I had an ultrasound. The lady ultrasound tech that did the ultrasound at about 26 weeks told us we were having a little girl and we were thrilled. My family was thrilled and my mom was preparing me a baby shower. WELL it wasn't till 2 weeks ago that I found a new OB with the help of my health clinic. Come to find out, the doctor that I was assigned to is the same doctor that delivered my aunt and was supposed to deliver my cousin and I which I find pretty cool. So, this week that just happened he has scheduled me for a growth scan ultrasound on Monday the 16th which just so happened to be my husband's birthday and he was so excited so we went in expecting to see how our little girl was growing and we were none the wiser. Well, come to find out..... It's a BOY. So this whole time we were thinking it was a girl and it is a boy so needless to say my mom had some last minute rearranging to handle for my baby shower that we are having today.
