I wouldn't have been able to do it especially with having to pump etc but if you feel comfortable with the person caring for your baby (baby's dad, your mom etc) then it's fine.

4 hours is a hefty distance, if you trust your care provider then why not.

If you’re feeling up to it and you trust who you’re leaving your child with that’s your choice. No one can tell you right or wrong in the situation. 
Personally, however, I wasn’t even feeling going to the store 10 min away a month after having my son.

my husband bought me tickets to my favorite band... which I go to their concerts religiously....it is 1 month after my due date. So my friend and I are planning on going still, but she is super understanding that I may not be the super party fun person like all the other times! also, i may be ready to get out of the house, do my hair and makeup, and have some time away from the baby. since I'm planning on becoming a sahm... I have no clue how I'll feel but I'm keeping my options open! if I'm not up to it, then I'll sell the tickets, nbd. :)

If you have a good caregiver then go and have fun. I hate the mom guilt where you feel like you can’t have fun doing activities without your kids. At 1 month your baby won’t understand that you aren’t there or remember that you went. 
Yes, you’re a mom, but you’re also a person and should be able to do things without your child.

For me, yes. It is wrong. I didn’t leave my LO with a sitter for long periods of time (over two hours) until she was six months. I didn’t feel comfortable with it until then because I felt like she was still so young that she needed me around all the time. She cried when nearly anybody else watched her for prolonged periods of time.

We love concerts! I think our first one after having our son he was 3 or 4 months old. I would go if I were you BUT just so you can enjoy yourself and know your baby is okay I would get a family member or very close friend to watch the baby...someone you can trust to the core😎
