6 month old swollen red eye?

Shes got what looks like a rash around her eye extending to he top of her head. Her eye is watering so it doesnt seem like
A block duct. She woke up from her nap and i noticed it and its been this way for over an hour. Just gave her tylenol and some zarbees baby mucus medicine because shes snotty. Doesnt seem to irritate her and she doesnt seem usually grumpy. Any ideas?

My baby had that last week whenever I laid him down. It was the beginning of a cold that he is getting over now. Keeping them from laying flat helps.

My daughter gets this all the time when she’s whiny or upset. It is her tear duct and goes away on its own. At least in our case anyway.
