PCOS Successes?

I hope this is the correct forum for this...​
​When I'm struggling with my fear of infertility due to PCOS, I hop over here and look for successes! They really cheer me up and help me to calm down. I've seen a bunch of PCOS successes, and I'm wondering... What helped?!

​Yes we were trying for 2 years! I had ovarian drilling and also another operation to remove some fibroids. The ovarian drilling worked a treat for me I ovulated quite frequently after that. My hubby also had 100% abnormal sperm so we were told our only hope was IVF but we weren't ready for that so we kept trying and it finally happened. We took a holistic approach to getting pregnant and did the following: 
​- moved to mineral water only rather than tap water
​- used preseed
​- went organic - even our eggs were organic lol! 
​- used a clear blue fertility monitor rather than standard ovulation tests as it tracks 2 hormones not just one meaning you get a better idea of what your body is doing. 
​- propped a pillow under my hips after sex and stayed there for quite a while!  
​- yoga - I found it took away the pressures of baby making!

We were trying to conceive for a year and after some blood tests I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was prescribed Metformin in April of this year. Was told to take for 6 months. With using this app and checking my BBT everyday I only got through 3 months on the Metformin before I got the BFP on 4 tests, two different brands, two days ago. This is my first pregnancy and baby. I thought I would be able to make it though but it can happen. No stressing, try not to over think it and it will come when you don't expect it to. Good luck!

I was diagnosed with pcos in May, I had an hsg on May 29th, started clomid the same day, June 29th got my bfp! Now I'm 6 1/2 weeks along!

​I was diagnosed with pcos almost two years ago. After two failed IVF cycles, hubbys vacestomy reversal and 10 months of ttc, BFP today. Metformin made me sick and out of commision so I quit those after 3 months. Here's what I did:
​
​**Organic Diet**
​-little dairy
​-lots of water 
​-maca root
​-Prenatal
​-CO.Q10
​ 
​ -last 3 wks, daily shot of brags apple cigar with a teaspoon of molasses
​-cardio exercise 4x a week and swimming on the Wkend 
​-lots and lots of veggies (kale, cabbage, salads, everything green)
​-feet up for 20 min after my hubby made a deposit, lol
