Pooping!??

My DD is five weeks old and I️STILL can’t poop without going into tears. I️ have crazy hemorrhoids nothing is helping them. I️ take stool softener and I️t does nothing! The most painful thing ever!!!

I am 8 weeks PP and it still hurts to poop. I've been taking stool softeners since I was about 20 weeks pregnant but now they don't seem to be helping. I asked my OB about it at my 6 week PP checkup and he said it was normal. He said that even though the hemorrhoids appear to be gone there are still probably little fissures inside that causes it to hurt and that it will continue to heal over time.

I'm 2 weeks post partum and it still burns and stings when I poop too. it doesn't put me in tears but it definitely is still uncomfortable to go and the stitches trying to heal don't help. definitely talk to your OB about what you can do for the hemoriods. ):

Omg. Have you talked to your ob? That can’t be normal. My insides came outside, and I was back to mostly normal within 4 weeks. What are you doing besides the softeners? Witch hazel? Sits baths?
