I need some opinions/advice

So there's a guy I've been dating and he wants to be with me. He's the sweetest guy and I can see a future with him and he even said he loves me!

I just have a problem and need some advice about it.

So he's a firefighter. There's been a few occasions where we said we're going to see each other but the fire department needed people. I'm in EMS so I get that they need help and he goes. I'm the same way when the station needs help, I'm there whenever I can. Well I just need help wondering how to go through it, not to freak out, and not to get upset. Can any firefighters wives or girlfriends out there help a girl out?
