For anyone who doesn't know what to try next

M

I am still TTC for a little over a year. I don't have a success story, but I have a suggestion for anyone who feels like they've tried everything they've heard or read about and don't know where to go from here.

I recently purchased and read a book called Making Babies. It is a 3 month plan that mixes advice from western medicine and eastern medicine.

My obgyn will let me try 3 months of Clomid before suggesting a fertility specialist (already tried Femara. No found problems other than over 35 day cycles). So since the book plan is 3 months, I figured why not try it at the same time.

After reading through the book, I've decided to try acupuncture and chiropractic work. I also have switched out all hygiene and cosmetic supplies for natural ones (book lists what products to avoid and I used google from there). I also have purchased vitamins for my husband and myself that sometimes work, are not in prenatals, and don't hurt to try. There are food suggestions that I plan to try and incorporate but I know that won't be as easy of a change due to the amount of checking labels it would take, but I'm doing my best.

There are multiple things in the book that have worked for different couples. It won't work for everyone. But for anyone who feels stuck (unsuccessfully tried pineapple core, putting your feet up, pressed, vitex, etc) and want something else to try before iui or ivf (or too early to see a doctor), I'd suggest this book! All changes are positive and even if it happens to not help, they are changes that make me healthier.
