When should I take a test

Hey guys! I ovulated on 4/16. I’m now 9dpo and I’ve taken a pregnancy test on 8dpo and got bfn and then tested this morning and got bfn. My period isn’t until May 6ish. I have pcos apparently so idk when I should take a test. Please help!

I've heard of a lot of people getting their bfp as early as 10dpo. Most Drs recommend to test a week after a missed period. Personally I have PCOS and I usually dont get my bfp until I'm 6 weeks along already.
