High liver enzymes in infant
Hi everyone
I’m really hoping a few of you have experience with this. My 8 week old was admitted to the hospital after a blood test determined she had very elevated liver enzymes. Her levels were in the 200’s while “normal” is in the 20s-40s.
Her doctor is suggesting potential biopsy and liver disease.
Has anyone had an infant with high liver enzymes? I am incredibly stressed and sad and would love to hear some positive outcomes.
