Would you let your 6year old daughter go to the funeral

so I got a call from my daughter's biological father today he asked me if he can have her for the weekend. I agreed but then he told me that he wanted her because Saturday was his grandmother's funeral. My daughter does not know his grandmother they have not met and she still very young. my daughter is still having nightmares about cartoons and I can only imagine what seeing a dead body would do to her. Now he's mad at me because I refuse to let her go. he says that I'm Sheltering her too much and this will make her weak when she gets older
