IUGR at 29weeks 3 days

Anybody else diagnosed with interuterine growth restriction? I have high blood pressure( being controlled with bp med) and gestational diabetes diagnosed a week ago. We were told we run a risk of still birth so I have been told to come in twice a week to be monitored until they think he is safer outside of womb than in it. We are praying he stays in until he’s at least 3 lbs. (now he is weighing 1lb 13oz) his length is right but his weight puts him measuring 27 weeks. They gave me a steroid shot for his lungs and will give me another Friday. Any appointment from now until he is born could be the day they say today is the day. I will have a csection and baby will not make it to full term that’s all they could say for sure. I’ve cried off and on all day but still trying to keep with my health issues. This is so hard y’all! 😭🙏

This pic is from 20 weeks. We have an appointment for a 4D on May 3rd but there is no guarantee we will make it that far and if we do we might not be able to. Please pray for our Boy we have been through fertility issues and a miscarriage. This baby means the world to us and we want nothing more than to bring him into the world and love and raise to be a strong man! 🙏💙👶🏻💪🏻

Update Friday 4/27/18 Good news today! The Dr said JP’s organs are developing right and are proportional, he will just be a little guy, they checked heartflow and rate, umbilical cord, placenta, brain flow, amniotic fluid and lungs which are practicing breathing! Also said he is a wiggle worm! I received my 2nd steroid shot for lung development. We are cleared until Monday and we will check again!! Please continue to Pray that he can stay in my womb as long as possible without any danger to his own health! 1 day longer in my womb means 3 less days in NICU!

30weeks 4days

Everything looked great today with JP, no major changes.

My dr did in fact tell me our boy is In the bottom 1% in size. 😱

I am going to start taking metformin to help my gestational diabetes get on the right track along with diet. I was told to go on at home bed rest starting tomorrow until he comes for my blood pressure. Hopefully I can keep it balanced out too.

I’m at the hospital being monitored! We had a NST done yesterday and JP had a heart rate deceleration so they decided to keep me over night and monitor him. He had 2-3 during the night so they said we are here until he comes.
