Bleeding 9 weeks 5 days

i woke up this morning with mild cramps and when i use the bathroom i saw a blood clot in the toilet. i wiped with toilet paper and i was bleeding. So scared i called my doctors nurse and still waiting for her call. Should i go to the ER or wait for the nurse to call back?
