Guy trouble!!!

My ex and I broke things off back in January but decided to stay friends because it wasn’t a bad break up and in hopes we could try again in the future. He told me he started to like another girl and I told myself I should move on. Long story short, I went on 2 dates with a guy and told my ex to keep him in the loop, but I’m still in love with my ex and he’s still in love with me and he told me that he broke things off with the girl because of me. I’m in such a pickle because I hate breaking things off with people and I don’t think it’s fair for the guy to be in the middle of this and I did tell him I wasn’t looking for a relationship, but my ex and I have a past and I think about him all the time and I don’t want to lose him from my life because of how close we are.
