What’s a good way to get yourself to dilate or for your water to break .... ????

Honestly, if your body isn’t ready it’s pretty hard to accomplish. But the typical “try these” answers are sex, nipple stimulation, bouncing on a yoga ball, walking, spicy food

My water broke and I was only a 2-3 dilated. What helped me was walking around my room and hospital hallway and bouncing on a ball. It took some time, but it got me to a 6 and my epidural which meant sleeeep!

i have tried everything for the last 3 weeks. 
pineapple, midwifes brew (castor oil), walking, jumping, herbs my midwife gave me, red rasberry tea, nipple stimulation and breast pumping, masturbating, birthing ball, sex. and even a membrane sweep.
this child is not budging.

I was asleep when my water broke. So I don’t think theres much you can do unless your body is ready. you can try bouncing in like a yoga ball, walking a lot, sex, just basic “methods”..
