We officially have our very own blob with a strong heartbeat ♥️😍

I have been so nervous leading up to this appointment, but the baby had an excellent checkup today. We are measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 110, which the doctor was pleased with.

Mark couldn’t be there with us for today’s appointment, but he will be back just in time for our 8wk ultrasound! That will be the last with our RE, then we will go back to my regular OB who referred us.

Not sure how familiar y’all are with 6wk ultrasounds, but the bubble looking thing is the yolk sac, the baby is just the small line between the yolk sac and uterine wall. The US tech was able to let me hear the heartbeat and point out on the screen where you could see the heart flutter 💗

I am still v nervous to make it to 8wks, then out of the first trimester. But for now I am trying to enjoy this moment ... receiving a healthy checkup and hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time today!
