Hey ladies, I'm back... Sort of. Some updates: 1) Had my d&c; on 4/13 and everything went fine. Have been bleeding the past two weeks but that is to be expected. 2) Went back to my RE today to talk next steps. If you can remember my plan was to have surgery on 3/21 to remove a polyp and investigate endometriosis, but I got pregnant instead. Dr. thinks we should go forward with the surgery (as do I) so that's set for 6/13 when hopefully my hormones will be back in non-pregnancy range. My hpts are still bright red two weeks out. 3) Mentally... I'm exhausted. Mark's been great and I told my mom (well, spoke through sobbing) last week and she was great. I'm heading down to Florida (Naples) with her for her bday weekend so that should be good. Crying less but still pretty fragile at times. Little things will set me off... It's been a rollercoaster and at the end felt like I took 2 steps forward (getting pregnant) and then 3 steps back (now surgery is 3 months later than we'd planned). But it feels good to have a plan. Now I just have to chill out for the next 6 weeks. I'm training for a triathlon so hopefully that'll keep me focused. 4) I feel like I've missed so many updates but congrats to the new preggos!! ♥️ So excited for you and hope your first appts go smoothly.
