Can I get pregnant again?

So I’m currently 2 months postpartum and I want to have another baby already cause I want them to be close together in age. I know the doctors say to wait it out because I had a c-section but what do you guys think should I wait? Please don’t be rude just need honest opinions

It’s dangerous to get pregnant too soon after a c section, your doctor is right that it’s better to wait. Especially if your c section was because of an emergency or something was wrong during your pregnancy and/or delivery.

A friend of mine had uterine rupture during her second child’s birth, and both she and her son nearly died the day he was born. He was in the NICU for months, and they’re still dealing with huge bills from it .  (She delivered her first via c section, and the incision split)
You should definitely wait! It is not worth the risk.

I definitely recommend waiting. You just had a major surgery that created incisions in your uterus, and obviously when you are pregnant that will stretch so much so it needs to be strong. Give your body more time to heal. My doctor recommended waiting a year before another pregnancy post c-section, especially if I wanted a vbac (less risk of uterine rupture). I see a lot of woman on here saying 6 months. Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend.

yes. other wise you risk complications.  you had a major surgery.  having that area grow and stretch so soon can be a bad thing.
