Count baby’s movement??

I’m 37w5d and today I went to be checked at the hospital because of a gush of fluid. Well things were fine, but baby wasn’t moving around; I’m guessing he was asleep. His heart rate was good about 135-145 which is where it’s usually at when I visit the doctor.

They gave me four cups of apple juice, a popsicle and even pudding to try and get him to move around and kick and stuff.

She wouldn’t let me leave until his heart rate went up to 150... she said it lets her know that he’s healthy and all that. Well his heart rate never went up to 150 and he wasn’t all energetic today, just kind of mellow. The only time I notice he’d move is if they’d move my tummy or shake it, but for me nothing seemed abnormal. His heart rate stayed on the range it usually does, it’s typically from 135-145 when I see the doctor and he really only moves here and there now, which I would assume is because I’m not a very big person and he’s not got much room to do anything.

Anyways they kept messing with me trying to get him all energetic and he curled up at the top of my stomach in my ribs basically and that’s where he stayed the rest of the visit.

My doctor now wants me to make sure he moves 10 times every 2 hours. If I wasn’t already stressed enough with college and finals being next week, I definitely am stressed now because I have to keep checking on him. Has anyone else had this issue?
