Vbac after c section 🤔
It’s been 8 years since I’ve had my c section with my first baby. I was 16 ( I know , I know 🙃🤷🏻♀️) and I stopped dilating at 4cm.
So naturally the dr sent me in for an emergency c section, since I had been in labor for 25+ hrs.
My question is, would I be able to have a vbac?
I’m not too educated on this topic and haven’t really done any research.
All I do know is that a lot of drs won’t even consider letting you have a vbac, at least that’s what 99% of my family members who have had also had csecs have told me.
And also, if I’m not able to have one, why would be the reason ? Is it because I’m not good at dilating ? Or because I’ve already had one ?
I heal super slow and I have a very low pain tolerance, the thought of having to go through another csection recovery just absolutely terrifies me.. but i want more children, and if it has to come down to it then I have no other choice lol.
Also.. I have no idea where to post this, so I hope this is ok.
