Cats around house ?

I’m 25 weeks pregnant and I have been noticing more and more cats around my house and car. Has anyone else experienced this or snakes ? And does anybody know how to get rid of them ? They don’t move when I approach, only when my husband says something, I’m kind of creeped out 😕

It’s kitten season, so more cats might be around to mate. I hope they are spayed or neutered! You will see some kittens around soon too if not.

the wives tale about snakes coming in and attacking pregnant women is a myth. snakes generally dont attack unless you threaten them seeing as they are more afraid of us then them. as for cats,  their just weird. chances are they probably just like something in your yard and aren't threatened by you, but may be by the sound of your husband's voice
