Why does my tattoo look patchy?

I got this tattoo done about a month ago. It looks kinda patchy :( or is it just me?

To me it looks like its not healed completely and looks a bit dry. If in another month it still looks this way it may need a little touch up

have you been moisturizing? when they heal the skin kinda dries up and dies around the ink so it can look patchy. it also doesn't look like the lettering is completely filled in (unless that's how you wanted it..). if you don't like how it looks in a month or so when it's totally healed, I suggest getting a touch up :)
