My friend (who’s like a sister to me) met a guy while on vacation last August. He lives in Punta Cana. Ever since then they FaceTime everyday. She went back to see him in September for a few days. He started talking about marrying her, but I didn’t think he was serious, or anytime soon. Last weekend we went to DR to see him where we met his family, and he PROPOSED! 😬 She said yes.

Not only, have they been speaking for a couple of months, but she’s only been in his presence 3 times! I feel like she’s moving way too fast, and caught up in the moment. I don’t think she’s really thought about everything. Furthermore, he has a child, and is willing to leave his country & child to move to the US with her. I can’t wrap my head around this situation. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone. I want to stop her, but I don’t want to lose her friendship 😔 Tell me, do you think I’m crazy for talking some sense into her & would you marry someone if you were in a similar situation?
