hello so my daughter is 9 years old. I told her never to be afraid to come to me about anything however I also said I'm her friend but not actually on that level I said I'm always here when you need me I said also if it's something you want to tell me that you don't want me to tell your step dad I'll keep to us because my husband and I also have a daughter together but she's only 4 and she tell me things and ask that I not tell her dad so I feel my oldest should have same right but my husband said that's not true he should know things like. if she having sex or have a cycle but I feel like that will make my daughter thats not his biology child feel bad so my question is should he know personal stuff about her or not and if so why he say in case I'm not home he no how to handle it but I feel I'm have everything situated so he want have to deal with it help
