When should you talk about living with each other?

It really depends on the couple. My husband and I moved in together 3 months into our relationship and got married 3 years later. We'll be celebrating 13 years together, 10 years married, in September.

Each relationship is different. I started talking to my SO in May of 2013, we officially became a couple July 4, 2013 and that was also when we moved in together. Almost 2 years later, we're still together and expecting our first child 10-13-15! To each his own.

We moved in 6 weeks after dating (legally not married but we will) but lived together since his family considers us married, and we have been talking about our own place for over a year

Hubby moved in a few months after we started dating, sleeping alone in the couch for a whole first. He was new to town and not well established or had no family/friends here.

We sort of did from the start. He was waiting on his job to get off strike to be able to go back to work so he was in the town I lived in visiting his dad for xmas (lived at his mom's in another town) we started talking and he stayed at my apt the 3 days he was in town he went back home cause the strike was supposed to end. We continued talking online for a couple weeks then I went to visit him for a day(we also made it official during that visit) and we ended up staying over at his brothers for half a week. The only reason I headed back home is cause I got a call to start a job and had to do my drug test by 3 that day. He missed me so much he made his sister bring him up the next day and he stayed with me for for the next 5 weeks until his company finally got off strike. I'd go visit him on weekends until I couldn't take not being able to see him all the time so we moved in together closer to his job after another 10 weeks. We also got engaged 3days before we found a place but had already been looking for a place. So from start of dating til we were officially living together was 4 months.

It all depends on the relationship I think. My husband and I moved in together 4 months after we met. Then we got married 4 months after that. Do what you think is right. You're grown, do what you want.
