What to do with 4 month old on weekends?

What do you do with your 4 month old on weekends ? There isn’t a lot to do where I live , especially for kids and there aren’t really any mommy groups, etc. last weekend we strolled him at the park . I just want to make sure he’s entertained and getting to do things , but since we live way out in the country , I’m not exactly sure what to do.

My 4 month old just loves being played with. Don’t feel like you have to go on some big adventure all the time. Babies this age actually benefit from less stimulation. 
We actually try and give our daughter some alone play time that way she learns to play by herself and not need constant attention to be happy. It helps them learn to explore toys and the world on their own, which can help with imagination and “critical thinking” down the road. 
Now critical thinking may be a stretch, but I look at it like this: if she has a toy that makes noise and if she wants to hear that noise, she will try and find out how to make that happen.

At 4 months old, even a trip to the grocery store is an adventure. Don’t feel like you need to go to Disney World or bust out all of these activities. Go for a walk in a park or blow some bubbles in the backyard.

My little one loved walks, and then taking a blanket out and blowing bubbles. I think they are easily entertained at this age, and new surrounding and colors fascinates them

He’s 4 months old. Going places or staying home is the same amount of entertainment for him. Don’t stress over it.
