God Story

So my cousins mom died of an overdose in February. They have a restraining order on their dad. They’re in “foster” care, living with their grandparents who were ruled “unfit to parent” the first time they were taken. My 16 year old cousins prom is today, and she came to the nail salon I work at to get her nails done. I was going to pay for it, because she is broke and she works at wendy’s trying to make money to make her little brother and sisters lives a little better. Her grandparents just use them for the foster money.

So while they were there yesterday there was a lady here while they were here, and when I went to go get my money from my car she was already paying for them. I asked her if she knew them, she said no but God was screaming at me telling me that they were going through a rough time. She said she knew she needed to help them some how but she wanted it to be anonymous. So she paid the $70 and a $20 tip for the girls. She was going on about how kind they were to each other and how well they were presenting themselves. It just made me want to cry, because she knew. They didn’t act sad, they weren’t dressed badly, and it was just so wow. There was no way she could’ve known. It made me so emotional. I had to share with someone!
