it all depends on what hospital you will be at, here in Northern CA, We have 3 main hospitals that we deliver at. My sister in laws all had babies at Doctor's Medical, they cannot have anyone stay over night, My mom had my sister, my brother & myself at memorial, she couldn't have my father stay the night, I will be having my baby at Kaiser, which I will be able to have my husband stay the night they even have a bed for him, but he has to leave for an hour to take a nap at home otherwise they will kick him out. but he will be allowed to comeback after his hour nap.

I think it depends on your hospital! I had 3 adults and my 10yr old sister through the night at one point 😬 then my husband my mom and my sis for 3nights since I had complications. But there’s a sign that says 1 other adult I think I was so sick they just let me lol

If you’re in the US and delivering at a hospital with private rooms, yes. If it’s a hospital with shared recovery rooms- possibly not. This is totally dependent on your own hospital and their policies.
