Do you think the guy should always be older in relationships?

I’ve always been taught by my family they I should always date an older man I’m not really sure why haha. I notice most people end up with someone older aswell. It’s not weird if the girl is older but If it was like a 20 year old girl and 18 year old boy it just sounds kind of creepy and weird even tho it’s not haha

Age shouldn't matter if you both are consenting adults. Also important for the relationship to be happy and healthy. Age is just something I don't really think about

My aunt and uncle are 6yrs apart, she’s older than him but they’re an amazing couple. I don’t think it really matters...

My husband is a year younger than me and also makes about $70,000 more than me lol also we first started dating when I was 14 and he was 13 so it honestly was probably “weirder” then since I was in high school and he was in middle school. Now we are 27 and 26. All of his brothers are married to someone a year older than them.

My boyfriend is 18 and I’m 23. It works for us, he’s amazing. I wouldn’t trade him for the world. Some people look at me funny when they find out but out of all the older men I’ve dated he is by far the greatest. 
I think it’s common theory that older men are better because they tend to be a little more mature, though that is not always the case. Typically, men mature at a slower rate than women so sometimes older men can be a better match. But sometimes my boyfriend is more mature than me 😂
Its all about the specific person you are dating or considering dating and their personality. And how you like them, not your family! As long as what you’re doing isn’t illegal, like dating someone underage when you aren’t, there’s nothing creepy about it!

My family implied the same to me. In a kind of brainwashing way 😂 But once I got older I realized that as a teen it's easier to date older guys because teenage girls mature more through highschool than boys appear to (not all, just most from what I've seen). But as an adult, as long as you feel like you are both on the same page, age doesn't really seem relevant.
