Do I take off my wedding band/engagement ring?

I haven’t taken my rings off since getting hitched. No swelling in the hands so I’ve been able to keep them on. Should I take them off before heading for the hospital in case I need a csection?

I had an emergency csection and they gave me time to take off my jewelry before taking me back. Of course all I had on is a necklace that had babies name on it because my hands were to swollen for my rings, but personally I wouldn’t take anything that you would be afraid to lose.

Take them off! I had 10 pounds of swelling out of no where (hadn’t had any most of the pregnancy) and would’ve lost a finger! You can wear them on a necklace or just put them in a safe place. My son is 3 weeks and I still haven’t put my band back on yet- still scared for some dumb reason. Good luck!

I didn’t swell at all during pregnancy either. But shortly after giving birth I swelled up big time. So yes, I’d say leave the ring at home.
