Does labor always start overnight?

As I’m sitting here 2 days past my due date just thinking and wondering- does labor always start overnight? When I had my son 2 years ago it did for me- I woke up around 5am feeling crampy and just not good. So now every morning when I wake up feeling ok i just count myself out for the day. Curious on other’s experiences.

I do the same thing. I get so disappointed when I wake up and nothing has happened hahaha. I’ve heard of people going into labor during the day but more commonly hear of it happening in the early morning hours it seems like

with my first water broke at 7pm at night, had him next day at 11am.
with second, labor started at 10am, went to hospital around 3pm and he was born around 8pm that day.
but yes, I agree. every morning I wake up with no contractions for this one, I'm a little bummed.

Had painful contractions all day, but they were super spaced out until 3:30 pm. Then they were coming quick, so we headed to hospital at 5:40 and was 6 cm dilated, had baby boy at 8:43 pm!!

My first labor happened overnight too. I woke up about 630am and just knew it was beginning. I’m 39+2 now, and I swear I can’t sleep anymore because I’m so desperate for labor to start!!

My water broke at 1025 pm and son was born 951 am next morning.

I started feeling mild cramps wednesday around 6:30 pm and then around 8:30 I started have contractions every 4 mins. So it can happen anytime! I was 41+1 weeks. Good luck hope it happens soon!
