Threatened miscarriage?

I went to the hospital yesterday & kus my throat was hurting and my daughter was sick. I also said I had pain on my left side one day but it wasn’t bad. They found a cyst on my right ovary & told me my hcg level was at 243. They diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage. I haven’t bled so I’m confused. I should be 5 weeks tomorrow. Anybody go thru the same thing? Am I worrying too much?

Just see your personal doctor- I’m noticing (from observing other’s comments on here) that sometimes the ER doesn’t handle early pregnancy well and can cause some unneeded stress. Everyone’s HCG is different the important thing is that the number doubles every 2-3 days. Additionally, I have a vague recollection of the ultrasound tech telling me that all chats near the ovary that released the egg isn’t that unusual and goes away on its own. Have your own doctor keep an eye on it but I wouldn’t worry at this point. Good luck!

I went through the same thing and, unfortunately, it ended in a miscarriage. I know that’s not what you want to hear, and I’m definitely not saying it to scare you, just so that you know all possible outcomes.
I was bleeding heavily, so my case is definitely different, but the most obvious signal was that I just KNEW something was wrong. Just trust your intuition!

nobody's hcg starts the same. as long as it doubles your fine. when it drops is when there's a for Sure problem.
