Needing advice and guidance

Hi guys. This is my first time posting. I just wanted to tell you all a little about me and my current situation. I hope to get positive feedback/advice and guidance please! I am 23, my husband and I have been together 7 years. We have been trying to conceive for a year now. I was previously on Nexplanon for almost 5 years. And had it taken out over a year ago. Then had nuvaring for one cycle. And since then we have been trying to conceive. And nothing yet. Isnt this considered infertile by now? I dont know if i have Pcos. I dont know if im even ovulating. I DO NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF HEALTH INSURANCE btw. Every time I tell my husband I want a opk he says that we dont need it. That we will get pregnant when the time is right. Which is fine and dandy, but if something is wrong with me. I want to know. If we think something is certainly wrong with me, we will take the time and money out for me to see a doctor. But what would i even say to a doctor? Will he want me to use a opk to see if im even ovulating? What are the nect steps for me to take? What kind of test will the doctor do?
