Two diaper bags??

Question

I'm thinking of getting two diaper bags - one messenger style, and one backpack. One is bigger than the other, and I can see them both being great for different purposes. Do you think this is too much and unnecessary?

I did that. The backpack for me and the messenger for my SO and honestly it wasn’t worth it. My SO would take things from my bag and I would get irritated if I left the house without checking and I didn’t have what I needed. Or if we went out together we just took the backpack. Or we filled the messenger and it just sat there and we forgot about it. Hope this helps.

We have two as well. One for my husband and one for me. I am super organized and he is not lol.. so if he continually messed up my diaper bag and I had to fix it I would go insane!! He knows not to take items from my bag for his.. we have plenty of the essentials to keep them both well stocked at all times.

I think that makes sense. Why take a big giant bag out if you only need a few things?  We have a pretty big diaper bag for my step son and tho it’s an awesome diaper bag, it’s just so big. Great for overnights at grandmas, but unnecessary for daily outings. We’ve never considered having two because he’s only here on weekends anyway.
