How bad of cramps do you get on ur period

I have had my period since I was 11(I’m turning 14) and in the beginning of 8th grade is when I started getting really really bad cramps and a very heavy period and having to take like 4 of the 200 mg ibuprofen for cramps(I could bleed through a super plus in like 30 min-1 hr) and I just got out on birth control in the beginning of April to regulate my period and it has made my flow lighter but my cramps are still bad but I only now have to take 2 of the ibuprofen xtreme or something like that... what do u guys do to help with the cramping pain even tho u took painkillers
