When did you install baby’s car seat?

I’m only 35 weeks but it’s here and ready, I just don’t want to be too eager. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

i didnt set it up until the day i left the hospital with him because if you get in an accident with it set up in the car you need to go and buy another carsear

Was planning to at 36 weeks. Just installed it last weekend. Due Tuesday.

38 weeks I always install the base. then throw the carseat in when its go time with the bags

My husband installed it after the baby was born when he went home to pack his bag for the overnight stay. We’ll probably do the same this time. I’d rather have two seats open in the back seat for as long as possible. And installing a car seat just isn’t as difficult as many people make it out to be

We put the car seat in my car at 34 Weeks. I wanted the boxes out of the way in the house plus we have dogs so we started to walk in and out of the house with the car seat when we leave so they can get used to us walking in coming home carrying it.

Not until the day I was discharged from hospital. If you're in an accident before then you'll need to replace the seat before you've even used it.

I don’t think you should be worried about too early. If you go into labor you’ll want it ready so you can bring the baby home. If you want to do it now then I say do it.
