Help!!!

Wondering if this is normal or if I should be making a doctors appointment. I always get debilitating cramps from Hell every period. It’s always on the first day with heavy bleeding and clots. This cycle I have had mild cramping for the past 4 days (no blood). Now today I’m having really painful cramping like normal, but my flow is light without clots. Should I be concerned that I’m having the cramps without the heavy bleeding or not worry about it? I know it’s not implantation, my period was due yesterday and started today. Also the cramps are way too severe to be implantation.

My doctors have suggested birth control to take care of the cramping since I was 13, currently 24. It’s not a route I want to take.

I spoke to a OBGYN about the possibility of endometriosis. She doesn’t want to test until we run through every possible option in TTC. Thoughts? Similar experiences? All advice is welcome.
