Yes. I had technically left my ex husband in a different state like 3 months prior. I knew in my heart that it wasn’t going to work but he kept telling me to hold off on divorce until he got home and we could try to work things out. I had already tried for so long and my ex wouldn’t change anything that needed fixing even after I begged. I began talking to another man and ended up falling head over heels for him with no intention. We just instantly clicked and he treated me the way I wanted to be treated. Something my ex had long forgotten. I know I didn’t go about it the right way, but I’m happy with my decision. The new guy and I have now been together two years, are engaged and have our first baby on the way. We still have never had a major fight and I haven’t once regretted my decision

My first relationship was a terrible one and I felt like I couldn’t get out of it. I was very young, super insecure. I started talking with a guy at work (looking back it was emotional cheating) and eventually leaving the boyfriend for the other guy. It was a fling, in no world it would of ever worked but it gave me the strenght and value I needed to leave an abusive relationship.

I ended it with someone I’d been dating on and off for about a year for my partner, we’d met 2 years previous but he was in a relationship. We ended up not speaking for a while and I started seeing someone else. My boyfriend and his ex split up and a couple of months later we got back in touch, went out for a drink and decided we wanted to be together. I told the man I’d been casually seeing that I wanted to give things a go with my boyfriend and he was upset but understood and told me to follow my heart. I’ve recently checked up on my old fling and he’s in a relationship and seems really happy. I know we weren’t meant for each other and I’m pleased we both got what we wanted. We aren’t friends on social media or anything but I still see him sometimes around town and say hi. It’s old to know that there are no hard feelings and that I did the right thing
