My doctor put me on Metformin 500mgs once a day. I have seen people on here doing 1,000mgs+ a day. I was wondering if this was normal to just take one 500mg once a day.

Also ANY experience, good or bad, is appreciated. We have been TTC for 7 months with no luck. I’m 21, my fiancé is 24, and to our knowledge we are both healthy! My blood sugar was a little high at my annual physical so she recommended Metformin. I took it yesterday morning and was super sick to my stomach all day yesterday but I hear that’s normal. THANKS LADIES😘

Forgot to add that I got an ultrasound with only one small cyst, have no extra body hair, and my hormone levels are normal.
