Little awkward moments 😹

Ok guys I got a TTC awkward story for you!!!

So hubby and I are TTC obviously. Hasn’t happened for us yet but I’ve been to the doc for some tests and what not.

Anyway, yesterday (Sunday) I was hospitalised for excessive vomiting and inability to keep anything, even water, down. Hubby took me to hospital but as he works night shift I sent him home and had my mum come to care for me while I was in.

The doctor came in and started asking all kinds of questions, obviously trying to work out what’s wrong with me.

Hubby and I decided to keep our TTC journey a secret so no one would sit and try to give advice or keep asking which would only depress me (he doesn’t mind the asking but I do so we agreed to say nothing).

Anyhow the doc asks if I’m on the pill, I say no. Mums ears perk up. Are you trying to get pregnant? Kind of. Mum looks at me. The most awkward conversation I’ve ever had in my life 😅

So I suppose the secret is out, with her at least. I know she won’t tell the rest of my family on her side but still it was awkward her finding out that way. 😂
