When did you start to buy stuff for your baby?

I’ve been wanting to purchase so many items for my baby and I’m in my second trimester. I wanted to start up the nursery but I just don’t know when. As always, I do things at the last minute. I know for sure when the time comes, I’m going to be super unprepared. When did you start to purchase things for your baby?

We bought a couple of things in the first trimester because it was Black Friday and we saved a lot of money on those two things. But other than than I held off until after my baby shower to buy other things.

I started at 10 weeks. And all of the stuff which wasnt much just unisex baby grows I didn’t like them on him at all. 
If there is a second time I’d probably leave it til the last trimester :)

I started buying gender neutral clothes around 6 weeks. I haven't bought much more than clothes, but I've been grabbing diapers here & there. I also bought some nursing stuff because I'm not registering for those things. I already know my parents are getting the crib and mattress. So, I'll probably just wait until my baby showers to get anything else.

I waited for everything till I was in my third trimester and I'm happy I did, it gave me a lot to do and it kept me active and moving

We bought the crib in second trimester but waited till my baby which was in my third,for the gifts to see if we needed to buy anything els and honestly we are pretty set just could use some more clothes and diapers.
