Abdominal pain when sneezing - ovulation pain?

My husband and I have been ttc for 4 months. Last month, the day before my period started, I had severe sharp pain on my left side when I sneezed. It happened a few times that day but only lasted for a few seconds each time. My gynecologist said it was probably a cyst rupturing, but it just happened again today and according to this app, I just ovulated. Has anyone else had anything like this? Could it be something to do with ovulation? Seems like it was too late to be ovulation the first time. I don't know if the app is correct about when I'm ovulating. I'm bad about remembering to take my temp, but I just ordered some OPKs from Amazon. I have PCOS but my periods have been pretty regular since I came off the pill at the end of December. My cycle is 28-32 days usually. Any help or advice would be appreciated 😁
