In Home daycare?

I quit my job to stay at home with my daughter (20 months) about 6 months ago...I’ve been watching my nephews (one full time and one occasionally) but am playing with the idea of doing a full on in home daycare!

Just wondering if anyone out there does in home daycare....I had a few questions.

Is it easy to find kiddos, with craigslist, word of mouth, Facebook it can’t be too bad right? (I’m in Oregon).

How do you do your payments? Do you require money up front?

Just any advice or experiences would be helpful!
