depends on YOU and how well you use your method. USER ERROR is the most common cause of birth control failure. birth control is 99.9% effective when used perfectly but most ppl dont use it perfectly so it falls to 91% effective when used as most people use it.

I have a friend who's little sister was born despite the fact that her mom was on birth control and her dad used a condom 🙃 
I'm SUPER diligent about taking the pill at the same exact time every single day and I still don't trust it to be effective enough lol. I make my boyfriend use a condom every time as well and then check for any tears/leaks afterwards because I'm just not trying to risk it. The absolute last thing I'd ever want is to be pregnant.

I personally would say not safe... my mom got pregnant twice while on birth control. Me and my sister was the result.

I had both the nexplain and the depo I don’t recommend them but I never got pregnant on them either it took a year to get pregnant after the nexplain  (don’t know how to spell it and tired) and don’t even know if I will get pregnant as I’m trying for baby number 3 now and I just got my periods back in January
