Anyone else??

Question

Ever since I started taking birth control (I’m on my second pack) I’ve been way more emotional.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have experienced REALLY bad anxiety, depression, and emotional side effects. I have tried 3 different combination pills, mini pill, Nuva ring, implanon, Mirena. It’s awful. I have the Mirena at the moment and have been put on antidepressants for 6 months until I get the Mirena taken out. 
If I didn’t go on antidepressants I would’ve ended my relationship with the most amazing man. 
BC is awful. So many women out there will be experiencing severe mental health issues not realising that it could potentially be BC causing it.

When I first started the pill I had mood swings and headaches and irrational emotional responses. In my experience, it takes a few months for your body to get used to the new hormone balance. Mine leveled out and I feel fine now. My periods are shorter, less painful, and more regular. As for side effects, I’ve noticed no further side effects after the first 3-4 months
