Ovulation test

So my cycle tracker says that I am fertile but to confirm I took a test last night and tonight, it was faint line last night but it's fainter tonight. I didn't take one before last night because I was out of town. Could this mean that I was ovulating and now the line is getting fainter cuz I'm no longer ovulating, I'm still new to the ovulation testing part of ttc, thank God for the glow community.
