Beach wave perm I like

Should I get this done at a salon or do it myself at home? It seems easy enough except I’m scared my hair will just be “crunchy” and not wavy because my hair is pretty thin. Have any Of you gotten this kind of perm before?

Is your hair lightened already or is that your natural color? If its lightened you cant get a perm, it will break off. Hve.you considered just learning how to do a beach wave w/ product and a curling iron? Its super easy and fast!

depends if your hair has color in it already, like the other comment you shouldn't perm if you do. I did a perm before and my hair is pretty thick, it came out pretty neat. I recommend a salon if your not good with your hands. I'm pretty good with mine imo, but doing a diy perm I don't recommend.
