HCG 299 at 16dpo too low?

Question

Went to the ER today because of left side ovary pain. Nothing showed up on ultrasound and my levels were 299. Doctor said that I should anticipate miscarriage because my levels are way too low? Is this true? Google has given me mixed opinions.

Don’t stress because it can harm your body. Just take it day by day and make another appointment for two weeks from now to make sure your levels are rising. I would not panic right now if you’re only 4 weeks. Sounds like the doctor you saw was being a bit hasty with jumping to a miscarriage conclusion.
